Cold Rolled Steel Coils
Cold rolled steel is low-carbon hot-rolled steel that has been cleaned of oxide scale and then finished in a specific series of rolling to just over the desired thickness, heating to controlled temperatures, and final rolling to the desired thickness. This produces steel with close dimensional tolerances and a wide range of controlled surface finishes. Use cold rolled steel coils where thickness tolerances and surface condition are important for light gauge applications.
Siegal Steel is a cold rolled steel coil supplier that maintains a constant inventory of cold rolled steel grades most commonly used by our customers as referenced below. The strategic alliance established with domestic mills gives us access to additional grades as the need arises.
Commercial Steel (CS)
Recommended for: Unexposed applications where surface smoothness is less important
